The Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth Alumni Foundation thanks all founding members and sponsors for their generous support of our mission. As a result of that participation, we have been successful in meeting and exceeding our goals of providing support to the local TLBR league, celebrating our rich history of incredible players and coaches, and providing scholarships to players coming through our program and going to college.
Last year, we awarded $1,000 college scholarships to 7 former players!
To be eligible to earn one of the limited scholarships, the applicant must be a current senior in high school (class of 2022) and previously played in the Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth baseball league.
In addition, the applicant must complete and return the application linked below, and include a 250-500 word essay.
Optionally, the applicant may include up to two letters of recommendation. The first should be from a teacher or school administrator. The other can be from a coach, or another teacher/school administrator.
The deadline to submit completed applications for the current class is March 11, 2022 (Notice: Deadline extended until March 31, 2022). The winners will be selected from the applications received, and will be notified by April 8, 2022.

*Exception: the writer of the letter of recommendation can submit the letter directly to the foundation email address.
